Just discovered from this website the
inspiration for a print of a water color by
John Hall #10/100 that I have had for
some time. Does anyone know about
John Hall;. the artist. The work is quite
good and is of Table Mountain across
the water from a lovely beach.

This is a great website with so much information one needs almost daily. Keep it going!.
I had the privelage of attending two live shows this past week. One in Cape Town, and one in Stellenbosch. "Cats" was absolutely fantastic! Shaun Bovi's "Swingtime" was magic! If you can still find tickets, do NOT hesitate, go and see both!

I do hope that the authorities will chase the owners of the vessel up and make them pay to clean up the coast line. Our sea creatures should not be compromised by man's inability to clean up after himself

Not sure how you all feel, but I seemed to have missed the Pulic Notice that mentioned that there would be a taxi rank right on the main road (by Bayside). I see this has errupted over the last week and I don't recall giving my vote of approval! The Taxi Rank is at POTSDAM and that's where it should remain. What is the municipality going to/doing about this situation? Blaauwberg/Table View is turning in a shack town I see and we are all allowing it! I will not put up with this and if there is anyone out there that agrees with me - please post a message - we need to get stop this NOW! Hawkers on the side of the road! A Taxi driver told our bus driver (please note that this is a bus stop) to move the bus because the taxi's want to park! Where have you ever! Please ladies & gents - let's stop this now.

Wow! What a privilage to live in Bloubergstrand! We have one of the most beautiful coast lines in the world and Blouberg takes the tops! Our kite surfers helps to colour up the sky, but accidents sometimes also happen. Always wear protective gear and know that your smile and front teeth are precious and almost irreplaceable! I just came back from Blouberg Dental Practice to restore the front teeth of the victim of a kite surfing accident. He can SMILE again, but learned a valuable lesson in safety. I am just glad that i can help keeping Blouberg SMILING! Enjoy Blouberg!

Hi all, thought I'd just drop a note to say thanks for this site. As a newby to CPT it really has saved me from much frustration. Making Table View my new home will be so much easier with access to all the info on this site. Lets hope CPT proves to be the place rather than JHB? Have a blast and again thanks.
Cheers

Now, is the ANYTHING else that can happen in South Africa ...before the World Cuk?
We have had Presidents with criminal records, Terribly Corrupt Politicians, Magistrates sleeping during cross examinations, Commissioner of Police on the run from a Warrant of Arrest, Senior Polioce Officials Obstructing the Course of Justice, 4 million still living in shacks, ANC - still incompetent of ruling a country (after 16 years of 'practice'), the Mayor finally getting a 'taste of her own pre-democracy medicine', daily electricity cuts, water shortages all over the country, education system in shambles, Health Minister with a drinking/theft record, prisons overflowing with petty criminals while the rapists/murderers/high jackers are out on bail and with 6,000 Illegal Zimbabwians coming over the border everyday - By 2010 there could easily be 10,000,000 of them in RSA and all Mugabe (the Zim 'King of Queens' has to do is move over into South Africa and get the Zimbabwians to vote for him to become our next President.
