Erika was born in Sweden in the 40's. Erika grew up there, enjoying the beautiful forests, the crystal clear lakes and the colours. She is a keen canoeist and sailor and partakes in other outdoor activities including dog training and instructing!

Erika started painting in the 80's, using watercolours. Her work during those years was at Swedish Television, where she was teaching, lecturing and doing freelance video productions.

She has lived in several European countries, moved 1987 to Durban and in 1992 to Cape Town. She started Providoc in 1993, a Video Production Company, working mainly in the corporate world and with documentaries.

Erika released "The Gentle Giant of Walker Bay" in 1999, a video on the Southern Right Whale and is presently busy with an exciting video on the Great White Shark, which will be released in 2002.
