Helen Schüssel was born in Namibia in 1972. She spent most of her young life in wild Africa, living in Zambia, Botswana and Lesotho while travelling extensively throughout Europe, USA and the United Kingdom.

Helena expanded her A-level Art education by diving into the deep end of the Commercial Art World. In 1994 she was commissioned to design the latest Definitive issue of 18 Postage Stamps featuring Birds, for the Government of Botswana.

Her artwork has been sold in Europe and the United Kingdom and is contained in various private collections. She opened her first Gallery this year and is creating a collection which will be exhibited in Munich early next year.
