MARINA TROMP - ARTIST
Marina Tromp grew up in Milnerton (Blaauwberg area) and after obtaining a B.Sc S.T.D. at Stellenbosch University, taught Biology at high school level. She became the Educational Officer at the SA Museum and afterwards at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. She has lived in America and Canada and travelled extensively. Marina is a qualified tourist guide and also trains student guides. She has always been interested in art and has been a pupil of Jenny Merritt for the past few years. As a trained botanist and a person involved with tourism, Marina has a keen knowledge of how to choose her subjects, which she then paints in oils or watercolours. Contact Details Sample of work  |
